Usb cables, check. Flash memory card, check. Electric motorcycle, check. The Enertia TTR Electric Motorcycle (seen above at the Isle of Man TTX Grand Prix – well not exactly this bike, the consumer version has about half the power and battery life) is now available for sale at select Best Buy stores according to this other blog. So you heard it second-hand here first! Or second. But for $11,995 I think I might take a good hard look at the new R1 instead…

Yeah I agree with both of you – both the look and the sounds miss the mark… Especially at this price. If I could send the electric bike designers a message it would be: Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel – ahem – motorcycle? All it needs is an electric motor and a decent battery…
That’s what the winning team for the TTXGP did (Team Agni) they took a GSXR 600 and put their energy into making a better electric motor… Both the Brammo and (the even more outrageously expensive) Mission Motors entry crossed the finish line 5 minutes after the electric GSXR…
