Who says scooters aren’t badass?

Turn the VOLUME down for this one! Unless you like the sound of fingernails on chalk boards… This is one video that could definitely use a nice sound track.
Other than the sheer silliness of this flagrant tire scorching, these stunts show us the inherent stability of a bike – even small wheeled scooters – as long as the rear wheel is turning. As long as the throttle is on (and the front wheel is moving somewhat), the bike can stay upright regardless of what direction it happens to be travelling in.
For car drivers, high performance driving schools use wet skid pads to teach drivers how to control a drift. You can’t really learn to drive a car well without learning at least a little of this. I wonder if this applies to bikers too… That’s what dirt riders claim – you can’t really learn to ride a bike well until you know how to ride in a poor traction environment like dirt…
Anyway – have a good weekend!
