Cheesiest video ever…

The cheesiest part has to be when the two guys look over at each other and nod… and yet, somehow, I LIKE it. I want a bike that can blast around potholes and (the coming) salt, sand, snow and ice… Something light, with plenty of suspension travel. The 1100 Hypermotard was a bit too much torque to be happy around town, but not quite fast enough to be happy on the track; (although I know that’s debatable) I’d rather ride a sportbike on the track.
The designers in Italy must have figured this out because the new 796 looks like a contender for the perfect city bike in the land of potholes. Plenty of wheelie inducing torque, but in manageable doses, along with a manageable seat height (32.5 inch), and 17 inch wheels. All for under 10k. Although I may have to wait a few years until I find one on Craigslist…
