Not (quite) a Motorcycle

So is it still a bike if it has a roll bar overhead? How about seat belts? I always thought what made a bike a bike was the two wheels – but now I’m rethinking that. What do you think, is it a bike or no?
It’s a bike, but its so gay and boring.
If you need a cage over your head, buy a car!
No, it’s a scooter.
It isn’t as romantic as a bike. That’s ok if it makes up for it with functionality. I’d like to see some start-stop footage and some mount-dismount footage. I bet if we could see it doing some of the more mundane things motorcycles need to do, we’d find it isn’t as practical as BMW wants us to believe.
I like this idea, but wonder about the execution.
It’s got two wheels, a motor and you don’t pedal it to start it. Most municipalities would classify it as a motorcycle; probably marketed and sold as a scooter.
@Duc: “Gay and boring”? Most of the gay dudes I know are quite interesting and not at all boring. It’s the meat head homophobes who put my to sleep. Okay, they make me laugh a little, then I get bored REALLY fast.
It’s a scooter, i’ll give you that. Are scooters bikes? Whole other question.
wonder if that overhead bar gives us an excuse to not wear helmets.
would u really want to be strapped in if u had an accident?
