What’s the best sounding bike you’ve ever heard?

For me this is it. I’m not a Ducati-snob, I actually like my Japanese made bikes… And as long as Honda makes bikes like the 600rr, I’ll do my best to own one. I also happen to love the gurgling sound an inline four’s make when they’re running a little lean (go figure!)… But I think the v-4 in the Desmo sounds amazing. What do you think…? Am I being suckered by the price tag and rarity of this high priced collector’s bike, or is it really a thing of beauty?
What’s the best sounding bike you’ve ever heard? [BTW - I've only seen one of these on the street once - near the 59th bridge on the Queens side.]

Whose mom was that in that last shot?
Best sounding bike to me: The Triumph Tiger 1050. But, I’m biased.
The triple 1050 engine is so smooth… such a unique sound.
I think it’s part of their ad campaign. “Desmosecidi: A sportbike even your Mom would approve of.”
Triumph Tiger – interesting choice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one around here. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.
Reminds me of last spring at the Ear, a guy pulled up on a brand-spanking-new 1198 and a crowd quickly gathered to look at it. Not 90 seconds later a Desmosedici pulled in and the crowd flocked to it like ducks after bread crumbs. The 1198 owner looked crestfallen. lol.
As far as bikes sounding good, I don’t really like exhaust noise. I do like the intake honk and gear-drive-cam whir on a CB-1 at about 10k rpm.
