Steering drill video…

Not everyone can pull a stoppie, or ride a controlled wheelie for a long stretch, not everyone can get their knee down or slide the rear wheel in a fast tight turn… No one can do it all. BUT… I think EVERYONE can learn to steer quickly and accurately. And if you’re riding in the city, whether you ride a dual sport or scooter or chopper or anything else…I propose you NEED to be able to steer a bike properly and efficiently. What are the top five signs that you doing it right?
Top five signs you’re steering properly:
1. You can turn the bike quickly anytime you need
2. Regardless of how much your bike weighs or how fast you are going, turning the bike is effortless…
3. You don’t have to change your body position in order to steer a quick left-right, left-right…
4. You are not putting any weight on the bars (holding yourself up with your arms)
5. You can’t understand how anyone can ride without learning to countersteer!
Here’s another video of someone just beginning to grasp some of these concepts while doing the steering drill.
