Word! I never thought I'd drop my bike like that - especially after all these years of avoiding it. I turned around to turn on the camera and when I turned back I didn't get my right foot on the ground quick enough.

Fortunately it just hit the passenger peg, so no scrapes... I think there's a new product idea: tail sliders... to keep the tail piece from getting scraped up. Until then, I think I'll be keeping that passenger peg extended from now on.

That's quite the crash. Funny thing is, that exact blunder happened to me last weekend. Thankfully my bike is naked suffering just a few little scratches on her. You would think having ridden for a few years now that incidents like that would be out of your system. Otherwise great track riding. It definitely didn't look like it was your first time.

Haha thanks Orlando,

Yeah I had to ride down this time (UHaul didn't come thru) so crashing wasn't an option :)

BTW - I'm going to Thunderbolt (been to that one before) on July 5th - if your'e free come hang out. I'm gonna bring a chair and hang out with the guys from sportbikeaddicts.com

What a spectacular crash man, I hoped you walked away without any injuries. Seriously though that was some good riding for the first time on track. I'm looking forward to going on the track next summer, need to get a track bike. I can't handle if I crash my CBR600. I might drive down to NJMP just check it out.
